The Many Faces of Mental Illness: a Donuts & Conversations gathering by Frankie D's with Community Helpers & Scott Walker

The Many Faces of Mental Illness: a donuts & conversations gathering by frankie d's
Mental illness doesn’t look the same for everyone. It doesn’t always show up in ways people expect.
This Donuts & Conversations gathering by Frankie D's is space to hear real stories from people in our community, and to better understand the many ways mental illness is lived and experienced.
We’ll be joined by BVMHAW ambassadors sharing their lived experiences, followed by intentional conversation prompts to support deeper, table-based discussions.
What to expect:
• Lived experience stories from local BVMHAW ambassadors
• Small group, table conversations with a BVMHAW ambassador at each table
• A facilitated space grounded in care, consent, and no pressure and closure of the event with some grounding practices
• Free donuts, of course
Whether you’re living with mental illness, supporting someone who is, or wanting to better understand — you’re welcome here.
