The need to develop and support culturally capable healthcare providers is entirely important in the face of changing demographics and growing geopolitical complexities. Being able to connect and communicate across cultures helps to ensure compassionate and clinically competent care for all community members. This presentation will introduce the concept of intercultural capacities with the goal of building cultural capability in the delivery of addiction & mental health services.
